Everolimus is a macrolide immunosuppressant produced by semisynthesis from sirolimus.

Physico-Chemical Properties:
Colorless crystalline solid ; UV max (95% ethanol): 267, 277, 288 nm (E1% 1cm: 417, 541, 416); Soluble in ether, chloroform, acetone, methanol and DMF; very sparingly soluble in hexane and petroleum ether; insoluble in water.
